When I look at machines of war I get the impression their designed with the personalities of their creators in mind.

For example I had the impression that Japanese tanks were built to be cute but not heavily armored, British tanks designed with proper etiquette, American tanks to be rugged and tough, Russian tanks to be merciless, and German tanks to be vastly intelligent.

Modern armor seems to have similar traits to that of their predecessors, but without the flaws.
